If you were ever curious to check out the tranquillity of Keswick Island now is your chance with a new one-day return trip.
Mackay Tourism in partnership with Keswick Island will take guests aboard the Keswick Explorer to the tropical paradise in the Great Barrier Marine Park.
The island has national parks, rainforests, white sand beaches and more than 80 per cent of it is protected bushland.
Mackay Tourism chief executive officer Tas Webber said the trip would showcase Keswick to Mackay residents and tourists further afield.
“It offers visitors a good chance to see the natural beauty the island has to offer,” Mr Webber said.
“We will continue to work with the team at Keswick Island to increase tourism with a considered approach and to build new experiences for future visitors.”
The one-day trip runs from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, May 29 with the $185 per person package including return transfers and a boxed lunch with sandwiches, fruits and refreshments.
Guests can relax on the beach or explore the surrounding areas. Tickets available here »
